Privacy Policy

Qardella holds your rental identity so you can share it with property managers you choose. This policy says what Qardella collects, who sees it, how long it stays, and how to delete it.

• Profile facts you enter: name, birthday, phone, household, income, employment, current and previous homes, references, pets, vehicles, and anything you write about yourself.
• Documents you upload: government ID photos, pay stubs, leases, and similar files kept in your vault.
• Bank transactions through Plaid: up to 24 months of transactions from each bank you connect, stored while that connection exists. Qardella reads them to find your rent and paycheck patterns.
• Screening identifiers: your Social Security number and driver’s license or state ID number, plus your birthday and drawn signature when you authorize a screening. All of them are encrypted the moment they are saved.
• Reference answers: what a past landlord says when asked to confirm your tenancy or give a reference.
• Account and sharing activity: the email you sign in with, when your link is opened, and which property managers you sent your Qard to.

Qardella runs no advertising trackers.

Bank connections run through Plaid. You sign in at your bank inside Plaid, so Qardella never receives or stores your bank username or password, and its access is read-only. Plaid’s handling of your information is described in the Plaid End User Privacy Policy.

Qardella proposes the rent and paycheck it finds, and nothing lands on your Qard until you answer Yes. While a bank stays connected, Qardella keeps reading new transactions, notices when a rent or paycheck changes, and asks you before your Qard changes.

Property managers see only what you share. Your name and household basics go with every share. Every other section and document category is yours to include or leave out, and those choices are enforced on Qardella’s servers before anything reaches a viewer. A share carries your age, never your birthday. Bank transactions never leave Qardella: a property manager sees the rent and income facts you approved and the months of rent payments behind them.

Screening identifiers reach a property manager only after you sign an authorization naming that property manager. Every reveal is logged and you are told. They never appear on your Qard or in a share.

Reference answers go only to the property manager who asked, and the request is recorded for you.

Qardella runs on Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Plaid (bank connections), Resend (email delivery), and Google (sign-in, when you choose it). Each receives only what its job requires. Data is encrypted in transit, documents live in private storage only you can reach, and screening identifiers and bank access tokens are encrypted with keys that never leave the database.

Your information stays while your account does. Deleting everything from Settings erases your profile, documents, bank data, screening identifiers, links, and sharing records at once and closes the account. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

Disconnecting a bank removes its transactions and the facts it verified. Ending a share stops that property manager from seeing your Qard. Screening identifiers are destroyed with your account.

Qardella does not sell your information, does not share it with advertisers, and does not show it to anyone you have not shared it with.

You can view, edit, export, and delete everything Qardella holds about you inside the product. Where the law gives you further rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, write to support@qardella.com and a person handles it.

Material changes to this policy are announced before they take effect. The date at the top is the version in force.
